COLUMBUS, Ohio-- Authorities say they never received more tips after showing surveillance images of a man who held up the US Bank, at 4780 W. Broad Street inside the Giant Eagle. The pictures showed a man in a hat and distinctive goggles that led the FBI to nickname him "The Bono Bandit," because of his resemblance to U2 singer, Bono.

The surveillance images were widely displayed in the media and Friday morning James P. Eickel, 39, of Grove City called the sheriff's department and subsequently surrendered. He's being held in the Franklin County Jail. The FBI issued a "thanks" to all those who called in their suspicions.
