COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus homicide detectives were looking for a suspect in the death of the city's latest shooting victim Saturday.
According to detectives, someone spotted a body lying on the ground near a Dumpster at an apartment complex near Hamilton and Groves Road.
Police said the victim appeared to be a man in his 20's with several bullet wounds to the upper body.
Police identified the victim as Kirk D. Becker, 24, of Columbus. He appears to have been killed at the location where his body was found.
The shooting occurred overnight, but was discovered by a passerby at about 8:15 a.m. Saturday.
An autopsy was being conducted.
