COLUMBUS, Ohio -- CPD continues to investigate an overnight shooting on the city's North Side that left one person in critical condition.

NBC 4 gives you the FAST FACTS.

Columbus police officers were called to the 2400 block of North 4th Street around 2 a.m. Monday.

One person was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Officers stopped a possible shooting suspect near the scene along Alden Avenue.

CPD assault-squad detectives continue to investigate.
