1 Lane, Exit Off S.R. 315 Reopens After High Water

UPDATE: The exit ramp from state Route 315 SB to Olentangy River Road and one lane on S.R. 315 reopens after high water is pumped off the roadway.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- High water closed the exit ramp from state Route 315 southbound to Olentangy River Road and restricted one lane on S.R. 315 Wednesday morning.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from the scene.

Authorities closed the right-hand lane of S.R. 315 southbound between Olentangy River Road and Interstate 670 for about two hours, between 6 and 8 a.m.

The exit to Olentangy River Road from southbound S.R. 315 also was closed.

Crews were working to figure out the cause of the high water, whether it was a water-main break, flooding or construction.

Trucks were brought in to pump some of the water out of the area.
