Candy, Money & Booze Used In Attempt To Lure Children

Hocking County Sheriff Warns Families

The Hocking County sheriff is looking for two men who tried to lure four children into a SUV.

Sheriff Lanny North said the men offered the children candy, money and even alcohol. 

The recent incident happened in the village of Murray

The men were described as white and between the ages of 30 to 40 years.

They were driving a dark-gray, newer-looking SUV. 

Anyone with any information or anyone who has experienced the same was asked to call the Hocking County sheriff's office at 740-385-2131.
