LONDON, Ohio -- Three people, including a toddler, are injured when they are hit by an SUV in a London subdivision.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from the Madison County sheriff's office.
The crash happened in the 2000 block of West Choctaw Drive shortly before 8:44 a.m.
Preliminary investigation identified the driver as 23-year-old Zachary Herald of London.
Herald was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe southbound on West Choctaw Drive when he struck three pedestrians who also were walking southbound.
The three pedestrians are 33-year-old Brandey Maynard, 36-year-old Melissa Fox and 2-year-old Brandon Fox.
Brandon's mother, Melissa, was pushing him in a stroller.
The three Maynard, Melissa and Brandon all reside in the Choctaw Lake subdivision.
Brandy received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Melissa was transported to Grant Medical Center by medical helicopter. She suffered serious but nonlife-threatening injuries. She was admitted and was in stable condition Wednesday afternoon.
Brandon was transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital with minor injuries. He was treated and released.
Deputies continued to investigate the cause of the crash, which might have been related to the use of a cell phone by Herald.
NBC 4 initially reported two pedestrians were involved in the crash, per the Madison County sheriff's office.
