Central Ohio law enforcement agencies are teaming up to catch drunk drivers this Labor Day weekend.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with the Licking County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday an OVI checkpoint will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday night on state Route 13 in Licking County, south of Cristland Hill Road.
The OVI checkpoint is set up in hopes of catching drunk drivers as well as stopping people from drinking and getting behind the wheel.
If you plan to drink, designate a driver, take a number of a cab company with you or make travel arrangements before you leave.
