»  Comments | Post a Comment

Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies seized nearly 200 marijuana plants from a property off Red Bank Road near the Hoover Reservoir Friday.

The plants were first spotted from the air by a pilot from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI) and confirmed by a pilot from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

On Friday, Sheriff’s deputies went to the property at 5701 Red Bank Road and seized the plants.  According to Delaware County Sheriff Walter Davis III, the plants have a street value of at least $200,000.

Authorities continue to investigate the illegal growth.  No arrests have been made at this time.
