A bus driver involved in a fatal crash in June is now facing charges.
According to WHIZ-TV, the Muskingum County prosecutor said Tri-Valley School bus driver Carol Oler is facing one count each of vehicular homicide, one count of vehicular manslaughter and failure to control.
Each charge is a misdemeanor.
The crash occurred on June 2 on state Route 60 just south of Dresden.
Investigators said the bus was taking seven students to Nashport Elementary, located on Creamery Road in the city of Nashport.
Authorities said the bus was traveling southbound on S.R. 60 when it went off the right side of the road and rolled at least once and possibly twice.
The bus also struck a utility pole and ended up in a deep ditch on the right side of the road.
Kasey King, 5, was killed in the crash and six others were injured.
The prosecutor said Oler, 47, will be served a summons to appear in court, where she will enter a plea.
