A 15-year-old boy was arrested last week after accusations that he sexually assaulted six girls during the past two years.
Cody Johnson, 15, is facing 11 charges including three rape, four kidnapping, two attempted rape and two sexual imposition counts.
According to Licking County Assistant Prosecutor Alice Robinson, the alleged incidents are as follows:
Victim 1: Between April and Sept. 2008 at the suspect's home
Victim 2: May 2008 on a school bus
Victim 3: May 2008 at Pataskala Lions Park baseball field and Haunted Forest location
Victim 4: May 2009 at the suspect's home
Victim 5: Between Nov. 2009 and March 2010 in the parking lot of the Indian Mound Mall and at a high school basketball game
Victim 6: May 26, 2010 at a residence
Robinson said that some of the alleged incidents were isolated, while others occurred several times with the same alleged victim.
Southwest Licking Schools Superintendent Forest Yocum confirmed that the boy is a student at Watkins Memorial High School, where he plays football.
The boy was arrested Friday and did not participate in Friday's football game, Yocum said.
According to the Associated Press, the teen's attorney entered pleas of denial - the juvenile equivalent of not guilty - to all counts.
An informal hearing is scheduled for Sept. 22 to determine if there will be a resolution to the case or if it will continue with a trial. If the case continues to trial, the date is set for Oct. 7.
Yocum said he was not notified of the boy's arrest until Tuesday morning.
Yocum said he was aware of an investigation involving the boy and a girl near the end of the 2009 school year, but that to his knowledge at the time, the investigation involved incidents that occurred off school property. Yocum said that he learned Tuesday morning that one of the alleged incidents occurred on a school bus.
Yocum said that the alleged incident that occurred on the bus occurred two years ago, but wasn't reported to the district. He said that had it been reported, the district would have contacted authorities immediately.
District authorities said they will discuss what steps will be taken at the school in terms of counseling.
