The Olentangy school levy being voted on in May has yard signs for and against the issue dotting suburban yards in Delaware County.
J.D. Brown of Lewis Center has no argument with the difference of opinion displayed when neighboring yards show opposing signs.
But last Sunday someone took his political yard signs.
"It’s a sad commentary that people in your community are going as low as stealing signs out of your yard just because you have a different viewpoint," he said.
Brown replaced the sign, only to have it taken again.
Neighbors are putting the signs closer to their houses in an effort to discourage the thefts.
