DUBLIN, Ohio -- A Dublin woman is indicted on felony charges after she's accused of raping a 10-month-old male.
The Franklin County grand jury indicted Ashley Jessup, 24, on four felony counts: two counts of rape, one count of endangering children and one count of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.
The indictment accuses Jessup in the Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, sexual abuse of a baby at her Camden Circle home.
Jessup allegedly performed sexual acts on the baby while videotaping the abuse and then sent the video to her boyfriend in another state.
Columbus police arrested Jessup Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011. The indictment did not indicate what led CPD to investigate Jessup.
If Jessup is convicted, she faces up to life in prison, Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said.
Jessup will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12 in Franklin County common pleas court.
