A Central Ohio Magician and Comedian has been nominated for Entertainer of the Year by a national magazine.
Campus Activities Magazine lists Hilliard resident Michael Kent among the five nominees for the Reader’s Choice award category.
Kent is a Comedian and Magician who performs in colleges and universities across the country, performing his stand-up comedy-style magic show in as many as 40 states in a single year.
The entertainer of the year award is awarded every year by Campus Activities Magazine and is one of the top honors for entertainers performing on the college circuit.
Kent is one of five entertainers being considered for the award, which will be decided through online votes on the publication’s website.
Having been nominated in 2009 for the magazine’s “Newest Rising Star” and “Best Small Venue Artist” awards, this is the third career nomination for the comedian and magician.
Campus Activities Magazine is a national publication that is distributed to more than 4,000 college campuses. Voting will be held through the end of February.
