COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man is sent to the hospital in critical condition after he is shot in the chest inside a north Columbus business Friday night.
Columbus police and medic personnel were called to the Tamarack Market in the 1900 block of Tamarack Circle South on a report of a shooting at about 10:07 p.m. Friday.
Once on the scene, officers and medics found a man who had been shot in the chest, inside the Tamarack Market.
Medics transported him to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
The clerk of the market tells police the suspect entered the market, shot the victim, and then fled the scene, according to police.
Police are searching for a suspect at this time.
The investigation continues.
