The deadline for dog owners to register their pets is almost here.
Tuesday, Jan. 31, is the last day to renew licenses for $24, or just $12 if the dog is spayed or neutered. After the deadline, it's $48 per dog.
State law requires all dogs older than 3 months to be licensed.
