CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson has informally referred to himself as "Ocho Cinco" for some time. Now, it appears, he's making it legal.
The nickname refers to his jersey number, 85.
Several reports say Johnson has gone to court in south Florida, where he lives, to formally change his name to Chad Javon Ocho Cinco.
Coach Marvin Lewis, who dislikes Johnson's attention-getting stunts, has referred to him as "Ocho Psycho."
Other than that, the Bengals have declined to comment on the apparent name change.
