CHICAGO -- Another capacity crowd. Another Chicago Blackhawks victory.

Cristobal Huet made 31 saves, and Martin Havlat scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period to lead the Blackhawks to their fourth straight win, 3-1 over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday night.

Chicago, 10-1-4 at home and 15-6-7 overall, is tied for third in the Western Conference in its bid to make the playoffs for the first time since 2002.

Havlat ripped a shot from the left circle past rookie goalie Steve Mason at 9:36 of the third, completing a give-and-go play with defenseman Duncan Keith.

"It was a nice passing play from him. A nice goal" Havlat said. "Not all the games are pretty. Huet held us in at the end."

Patrick Sharp scored in the final second of the second period, and Brent Seabrook added an empty-net goal. Fredrik Modin scored for Columbus, and Mason made 28 saves.

In the only other NHL games Sunday night, Anaheim beat Minnesota 4-2, and Vancouver topped Florida 5-3.

On Havlat's go-ahead goal, Keith swung deep into the Columbus zone to set up the give-and-go.

"You want to get the puck in his hand," Keith said. "The puck was rolling and I knew he expected it back. If I didn't give it back, I would have heard from him."

Columbus has just 28 goals in its last 13 games.

"It's definitely hard," Mason said. "We played well enough, but just couldn't find a way to put the puck away."

Columbus, coming off consecutive home wins, has lost five straight on the road.

"I think it's frustrating for everyone to live on this, 'We played so well and still only scored one goal,"' coach Ken Hitchcock said. "Right now, we're living on a fine line and there's not much breathing room." Ducks 4, Wild 2

At Anaheim, Calif., Brendan Morrison scored the go-ahead goal for Anaheim in the second period, Chris Kunitz set up first-period goals by Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, and Bobby Ryan also scored for the Ducks.

The loss was the fifth straight for Minnesota, the first time in the franchise's nine-year history that the Wild have had a five-game losing streak with all five games being decided in regulation. Eric Belanger had a goal and an assist for Minnesota, and Marc-Andre Bergeron scored on a power play. Canucks 5, Panthers 3

At Vancouver, British Columbia, Pavel Demitra scored twice and Vancouver overcame a two-goal deficit to end Florida's road winning streak at five.

Darcy Hordichuk, Kyle Wellwood and Ryan Kesler also scored for the Canucks. Nick Boynton, Jay Bouwmeester and Michael Frolik scored for Florida.
