Tyler Dierkers, who had 10 points and eight assists, scored on a tip-in with 2:13 left to put the RedHawks (7-4) up 69-64.

It was the last time Miami scored as the RedHawks missed two free throws and a shot, and committed two turnovers in the final minutes.

During that stretch, the Demons (8-6) scored four points but missed a layup in the final seconds.

Michael Bramos also scored 13 points for the RedHawks and Pollitz was 2-for-2 from beyond the arc and dished out four assists.
