BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Quarterback Ben Chappell likes his new role as Indiana's unquestioned starter.
And he's getting comfortable in a new environment.
A little more than a week before the Hoosiers season-opener against Eastern Kentucky, Chappell said he has taken more snaps at this year's fall camp than he has previously and that it's given him a better feel for what to expect.
Teammates concur. They say Chappell is an effective leader because of his work on and off the field.
Indiana wrapped up its fall camp Wednesday and now heads into a regular week of practice before next Thursday's opener.
