PLAIN CITY, Ohio -- In the opening round of the Division I boys' sectional tournament, Walnut Ridge and Hilliard Davidson went head-to-head at Jonathan Alder Wednesday.

Grant Goodwin sunk a tough shot late in the game to pull Davidson within three points of the Bobcats.
In the final moments, Walnut Ridge's Austin Traylor came up with a big board and a put-back, and was fouled in the process, sealing the game for the Bobcats 44-42.
Walnut Ridge advanced to the sectional final, which will be played at Olentangy Orange High School Saturday. They will take on the Reynoldsburg Raiders at 8 p.m.
