EVANSTON, Ill.- Jantel Lavender had 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Ohio State to a 68-59 win over Northwestern on Wednesday.
Samantha Prahalis had 11 points and three rebounds for the Buckeyes (11-2, 2-0 Big Ten).
Amy Jaeschke led Northwestern (4-10, 0-3) with 24 points and five rebounds. Kristin Cartwright came off the bench to score 11 and Meshia Reed added 10 more.
Wednesday's win was Ohio State's fifth straight. In their last game, the Buckeyes trounced Michigan 70-50 on Dec. 21.
The Wildcats are coming off a 66-54 road loss to the Wolverines on Sunday.
