COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A championship encore for the Columbus Crew will follow a long, winding road.
The Crew Wednesday announced its 2009 schedule, which includes 30 regular-season games from March through October.
The Crew planned to open its season March 21 at Houston and open its home season March 28 against Toronto FC.
Columbus won its first ever MLS Cup in 2008 and returned most of its roster from last season.
