COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed forward Pascal Pelletier to a one-year, two-way NHL-American Hockey League contract.
General Manager Scott Howson announced the deal Monday. Terms were not disclosed.
The 26-year-old Pelletier played in 71 games with the AHL Rockford IceHogs last season. He had 29 goals and 26 assists.
He was scoreless in seven games with the Chicago Blackhawks.
He has appeared in 277 AHL games with Providence and Rockford since 2005-06 and has 100 goals and 125 assists.
A native of Newfoundland, he has played in 13 career NHL games with Boston and Chicago since January 2008.
