COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have wrapped up their 10th NHL draft by adding five players in rounds two through seven at Bell Centre in Montreal.
Columbus traded its third- (No. 62) and fourth- (No. 92) round picks to the New York Islanders on Saturday in exchange for a second round (No. 56) pick, which they used to select U.S. National Development Team center Kevin Lynch.
The Blue Jackets took defenseman John Moore with the 21st pick in the first round on Friday.
The team took defenseman David Savard in the fourth round, defenseman Thomas Larkin in the fifth round, defenseman Anton Blomqvist of Sweden in the sixth round and right wing Kyle Neuber in the seventh and final round.
The club holds a developmental camp next week for most of its young players.
