Africentric Dominates Harvest Prep In 61-35 Win

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- Raven Ferguson scored 21 points as Columbus Africentric beat Columbus Harvest Prep 61-35 in a Division IV regional final Saturday in Pickerington.

Africentric (21-4) hit the first 20 points and kept on scoring as the Nubians paved their way to a third straight state tournament appearance. Shardai Morrison-Fountain finished with 18 points.

Tanija Beasley and Jasmine Tate led Harvest Prep (20-4) with 11 points each.

Harvest Prep guard Destiny Turner was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital after sustaining an apparent concussion while diving for a ball in the third quarter.
