STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Two teams with decidedly different postseason goals meet Saturday when Indiana visits No. 19 Penn State.
Indiana (4-6, 1-5 Big Ten) needs to win its last two regular-season games to become bowl eligible. But winning Saturday alone will be difficult enough for the Hoosiers since they've never beaten the Nittany Lions (8-2, 4-2) in 12 tries.
Despite last week's tough loss to Ohio State, coach Joe Paterno's club still has an outside shot at a lucrative Bowl Championship Series berth with two more wins. Improving special teams play has been a point of emphasis this week at practice.
Saturday will also mark the last game at Beaver Stadium for 18 Penn State seniors, including quarterback Daryll Clark, defensive tackle Jared Odrick and linebacker Sean Lee.
