This is going to seem to be my "disagreeable" forecast day as I will seemingly take issue with other forecasts out there now.
Beauty of it is, if I am wrong, we will all know it as I am discussing this ahead of time.
I have valid facts in my corner, though.
Today was the 22nd 90-degree day of the summer. This should be the last one of the year, too, in my opinion.
We have a cold front coming into Ohio that will be out of the state by midnight.
The Severe Storms folks have us in a 2 percent tornado risk, 5 percent large hail, and 5 percent wind damage, which actually are high numbers even though it might seem low to a novice.
I do expect a line of cells – maybe 20 minutes wide – to cross us before dark but to me the risk threat out of them is way too high.
I could see gusty winds. We have them already out ahead of the front anyhow. No severe weather has been reported today to our west.
I listened to our competitors on radio then this morning say it was smooth sailing through the Buckeye Game on Saturday.
I see a warm front Saturday afternoon, a cold front Sunday morning and the remnant moisture from Tropical Storm Hermine affecting Ohio this weekend so I do not know where they got that forecast.
Now for the nice stuff. Weather will be perfect tomorrow through Friday. Breezy, cool, dry, and bright.
Did you hear that it dropped to 19 in Iowa this last weekend?
Wednesday Breezy, Sunny 55/76
Thursday Sunshine, Cool 48/74
Friday Sun, Mild 53/78
Saturday and Sunday Scattered showers and thunder 60/83 64/80
Monday Sunny and Mild 59/82
Tuesday Cooler, Dry 56/77
